About the Coach: Betty Till
Becoming an executive coach was a natural progression for me. Throughout my diverse managerial and executive career, I was not only a leader of people, but I also seemed to be something of a guide for manythe person people came to, knowing they would have an objective, non-judgmental person who would listen to them and give them insights that sometimes helped them get over their temporary hurdles.
During my leadership career, I often counseled managers and employees on creating impact, communicating effectively, developing alliances, achieving life balance and making choices. It began to dawn on me that it was in these types of interactions that my personal strengths could be best put to use. After assessing where I was and where I wanted to be, I successfully transitioned to a formal coaching practice and created LifeWork Solutions. My private coaching practice benefits physician executives, healthcare administrators, managers, entrepreneurs, and professionals outside of the healthcare field.
I am passionate about lifelong learning and conscious leadership. My clients are often physicians. As a physician executive coach and advocate, my vision is to work toward a time when all of us will be treated and cared for by caregivers who love their jobs, who want to come to work, and who get along and collaborate with their colleagues to make health care better. These goals are vital now and in the future healthcare environment.
I have worked with hundreds of physicians in leadership development, most often with those who are transitioning into leadership roles or who are working to become conscious leaders. Conscious leadership is about making choices from awareness and engaging in meaningful communication. My clients are physicians who recognize that their clinical skills and education provide a rich foundation for their growth as leaders, whether it's in their current environment or in a new endeavor. In the coaching relationship we focus on the outcomes the physicians want, how they will feel when having achieved them, why they would want them, and the steps needed to move forward.
I am dedicated to helping physicians gain clarity around values, purpose and outcomes. It's only when we know our desired outcomes that we can truly focus and realize our dreams.
